Church of the Apostles

Church of the Apostles has been so generous in welcoming Nature Connect programs to be held on their land and at their facilities. Nestled into a beautiful gully surrounded by woodlands, the church facilities are like a natural retreat center. Children love exploring in the clear, freshwater creek that runs alongside the property. The wooded trails wind through hardwoods and pine and provide access to log balance beams and the perfect place to build shelters. The buildings on the property are made of reclaimed wood and materials and provide clean bathrooms and indoor Montessori-style classroom space as shelter in inclement weather. We are also building a playground with natural structures and renovating a barn into more classroom space.
